Excel Mastermind
Description
This program was written by Will.
Simple implementation, open code (for us VBA geeks). For me it brought back memories of 7th grade, when my math teacher used to make us beat her at a game of mastermind before granting us a hall pass. I need to have a word with you all about color schemes for the red-green challenged, though!
Will is finishing up a book on games in Excel, so let's all wish him luck with that -- details as they come.
Description
This program was written by Otto, to demonstrate that the game can be programmed without needing VBA. This is an Excel 2007 (or later) version of the game, however - it does use non-backwards compliant functions! Otto also provided a nice write-up of the mechanics behind this version of the game.
